What is a reliable laptop for college/school work?

I need a laptop that can run Office software and do some web browsing that comes from a reliable company with a good warranty and customer service. It needs to be a stable laptop, so I would like the parts used in it and the construction to be above average. Price isn't too big of a deal, but I'm not trying to get extravagant either.
