Hmmm didn't strike me as a replacement, less PCI-E slots than the Formula V. In any case it doesn't really matter, the Deluxe looks just fine and dandy. Hopefully my 4770K won't be a dud.
Actually scratch that, it looks like ASUS may have a currently unannounced Maximus VI Formula in the work:

To each his/her own. I prefer the color scheme of the MSI GD65 (or rather, it matches my reference 7970GE ) and don't particularly like the color scheme of the mid/low-end ASUS boards (the VRM sinks look like brass and the yellow plastic is odd).If I were to buy a Z87 motherboard I'd opt for something ASRock has to offer. ASUS is overpriced, MSI seems to be focused on their gaming theme (Killer NIC ew), and Gigabyte went cheap by putting 3-year old Realtek audio codecs on their boards.
Looks like I'm going with an Maximus VI Impact mini-itx.
I just broke down and ended up buying the Asrock Z87 Extreme 6/ac as Newegg has them on sale for $200. I have some concerns but let's hope for the best!
Slickdeals post
What are the defining differences between the UD3/4/5H boards? I'm trying to compare the three and I keep confusing myself. Which is which? If I were to go haswell, I'd probably do a Gigabyte UD3/4/5H.

ASRock Z87 OC Formula where are thou...
I have the Z87 Deluxe. Talk about a bling board and all the connections and features. Like many here in the past my budget was only a $200 MoBo. Last week when I was at Frys they had this board and MSI as well. Having seen the release photos of all the new Z87 boards 2 weeks prior, I knew I had to get the Asus Z87 deluxe.Asus Z87 Deluxe or the Pro paired with a 4670K, can't decide between the two, leaning towards the deluxe with AC wifi... don't know if it's worth the 80 bucks difference, but we will see when more reviews come out.
Gone for the MSI MPOWER MAX board, really like the look of and features of this board.
I'm not getting any.
Are there any Haswell mobos around the £200-250 price that have 2xPCI-Ex16 space for SLI/X-Fire that actually run at x16 when both slots are populated???
It seems everything wants to drop to x8 x8
