what driver version should I use ?

I have a 8800 GT vid. card and I'm only going to be playing games using DirectX 9 on XP. What's a good version driver thats out you would recommend ?
 
anyone else have a suggestion, trying to get multiple opinions. I play alot of CS:S btw.
 
I dont know, 169.09 has been giving me black screen on start up many times. I went backwards to 169.02.
