• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

What does this option do?

When postings messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type.

i dont undestand the difference between the 2nd option and the cool sounding 3rd option. ive tried all 3 browsers on my computer (firefox, internet explorer, opera)

a little help, and maybe a screenie of where the changes appear?

Here is a pic, latest firefox on windows:

it means what you see is what you get, so whatever you see in the text box will be what you see on your post.

this is opposed to seeing HTML code in your text box and the formatted text in your post.

wow, that so doesnt show up at all for me. does it work in any other browsers or is my firefox neutered.

i want that one

the real question is:
How readable is the produced BBCode?

  1. one
  2. two
  • a
  • b
  • c

  1. un
  2. deux
  3. trois

  • d
Trebuchet MS

That's one of the issues i have with the built in WYSIWYG editor for Moodle, an open source course management system my CS professor is using. Granted it has lots of stuff like tables and more html but the code it produces is awful if you want to edit it manually (which i generally do)

Also, everytime i clock preview post again, the number of lines between the third bullet and first nested numbered list increases. whatever though, i'll just continue doing it the old fashioned way ;)
