The EVO recently came out obviously the size of which is 4.3", now the Droid X has the same size screen but is slightly larger, it seems 3.7" was the largest size phone screen up to a year ago or so, and that was thought of as pretty large, now this new generation of 4.3" screens is coming out and people are saying these phones may be too big and not for everyone.
I personally think it's a good thing, because you can cram more resolution into it. It hasn't happened yet, the the new 4.3" phones are still 800x480, but if you put 1280x720 on a 4.4" it would have a very similar pixel density to the iPhone Retina Display and that kind of resolution with Android running would be for me holy grail. I'm tall and I have gigantic hands, so for me 4.3" doesn't feel too big at all and is totally pocketable, but what do you think the pocketable limit is? I would say 5" is the limit. 5" screen you can fit in your pocket, anything bigger would be too big for everyone IMO so probably what they would do after that is some kind of AMOLED folding design where you unfold a 5" screen like a netbook and it turns into a 7.5" or something. But anyways I digress.
