What do you need to build a graphic designer PC?

I want to build my first PC for my graphic designing my total budget is $1000usd. I only know what case I am getting. But I am lost on what the inside should be composed of. I need some recommendations on what would work. Shall I go to the London graphic centre?

What kind of graphic design? Are you doing 3D renders, or more of a print/photography/advertising type graphic design? You can use just about anything anymore for 2D/photography.
