What card would compliment my new system the best?

After 4 years, I've decided to upgrade my trusty PIII to a new AMD system. The core specs of the new computer are as follows

Asus A7N8X-D
1800+ overclocked to ~2400Mhz
512MB Mushkin lvl II (will add another 512MB stick when I'll have the extra money)

I'm thinking an ATi 9700 Pro would be the perfect match for it, but I'm wondering if it will still be the bottleneck in my system. This computer will probably have to last for another four years, so should I consider one of the 9800 flavors? If so, which one?
 
I would go for the 9800 series yes... but the 9700 is still a solid card.

Or if your patient, wait for the next series.
