I have a yamaha and it has a midi port. What can I do with that and my computer?

Once you plug it into USB/PC, you can use it to control VST or virtual instruments over your speaker headphones. There are cool VSTs like one that emulates a Mini Moog.

Thanks, that's what I thought I should be able to do I just wasn't sure. Lousy documentation.
