What are you nerds playing this weekend?

Another solid week of not finishing a single game and starting 2 new ones lol.

Pumped

BO6 SP3
Last of Us Part 2
Stalker 2
Ass Creed Shadows

Started

Oblivion Remastered
Atomfall

Dope weekend though.
Nice to know that I’m not the only one.

Played some Division 2, The Talos Principle, Horizon Zero Dawn, as well as IRL PC Bulding Simulator and continuing to troubleshoot new build.

Started Oblivion Remastered and Sniper Elite: Resistance

I grabbed a few Resident Evil games on sale and decided to start with RE2(2019)

Hitting up some Crysis 1, since I just so happen to have an OC i7-950 and a GTX 680, with a 1440x900 monitor. The game runs swimmingly, and I'm excited to finally have a good experience. It's much better than 1440p Phenom II + RX 580

Recently installed this myself....

The 30+ min set up process was well worth it!!
And as far as installs go it's straightforward too, very well explained on the discord
What faction did you start as? I went with Clear Sky in the swamp area, got my first sniper rifle from looting and am now crafting ammo meds and keeping my gear repaired, which wasn't easy to get to. Mp5 and shotgun are my primary weapons. Still need to find better armor.

I went with Loner/Stalkers, set to Normal, and let the rest randomize....

Yeah, I'm also rocking the MP5 and some throw-away HP 9mm.

Here's a good "WTF AM I DOING?" -esque Youtube Tutorial on gameplay if anyone is curious:

Finished Stalker 2. Put in just under 150 hours. GOTY 2024 for me, nothing else came close.

Was going to start my first in-depth playthrough of RDR2. But then I took Oblivion Remastered to the knee, can't see myself playing much else this weekend.

Need to finish Assassin's Creed Mirage. Far from the worst game out there, but a good example of how Ubisoft thinks they are "AAAA", yet their games play and have production values more like a AA game.

Tempest Rising & STALKER Gamma (peppergomez had me thinking about it all day at work... well done sir)

And I'm gonna reinstall Doom 2016 because, it's been a long week and I need to shoot some ish in the face

Finished off Far Cry 2. 45.3hrs.
The Steam version crashed every 30min like clock work when my disc version never did. It crashed the most when I would hit F5 to quick save.
And yes it was just as monotonous as it ever was the last 20 times that I've played it.

First time playing it @ 4k though and it looked good for what it is.
Needless to say it will probably be the last time I ever play it again.

Now on to Far Cry 3.

Black Ops 6 SP3. Still only 51% done.
Stalker 2. I think I did one more mission. Game is very long.
Ass Creed Shadows. Doing random shit but thought about doing a bit of main quest. Killing idiots all day.

Gaming bliss on this 5090. Spanks games all day!

I skipped this season in BO6. Saw the BP was only like 56 days long at release, which at the rate of token drops means you have to play 1.5~2 hours everyday to finish (assuming no 2XP tokens or weekends). Just too many other games and I'm over the shitty (milk all your play time for battlepass) model of gaming. I'm just over it all. I did finish BO6 campaign tho, was pretty enjoyable.

Yeah this might be my last BP as well. The whole black cell purchase makes me want to play as I feel otherwise it will be money lost.

Star wars Survivor and Avowed dlc for Star wars will take a day. Uninstalled a bunch of games recently wish I didn't buy SSD space is limited until I get some 8TB drives. I have plenty of space just don't like seeing 1TB left on a 4TB drive.

Since I finished Avowed, I've moved on to:

Clair Obscur (Loving it)
Atomfall (Liking it, think it will even get better)
Commandos (Not feeling it, but will give it a bit more time)
Crime Scene Cleaner (Love it, reminds me of Power Wash Simulator)

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Enjoying it, but a bit too long with side activities. Also, graphics look inferior to Remake.

Shelved Black Myth Wukong. May try it in the future but it seemed so boring. Design wise it seemed more like a AA game from decades ago, and not in a good way.

Defeated a 40K/ Battle tech player in Fischer Random. Felt good but they were out of practice Meh.

Taught some people Dominion; was fun!

Oblivion Remastered the entire weekend. Whatever you all do try not to get Vampire Disease. The quest to get the cure is a PITA. Spent most of the day yesterday and part of this morning doing that quest just so my character could walk outside without dying.

Always check if you were diseased after fighting vampires and carry Cure Disease potions or the Cure Disease spell with you.
Doom: The Dark Ages
Same.
