Want to get to do one of the following over the next week or so:

STALKER 2
Indiana Jones / Spider Man 2

If I think I have more time, STALKER 2. If I think I have less time, will do the two shorter games.

I have no idea waiting on a bunch of games to come out last game the only bought this year was Kingdom come Deliverance 2. I did pick up Atomic Heart I'm kinda waiting on picking up a 5080 I just signed up for MSI notifications today. Oh yeah I bought Gord really a nice looking game but I got lost on what to do. Played Solasta 2 and Warhammer Rogue Trader both are nice games.

Pretty deep into Kingdom Come Deliverance - I've had the base game forever and finally got around to playing it due to the KCD2 hype. And the game's great - once you understand it's game mechanics. I just picked up the Royal version (it's currently, or just was on sale on Steam) so I'll likely be playing this title for some time yet.

Also game plays great on both a KB+M and controller, so switching between my desktop and ROG Ally is a smooth and playable experience on either device.

Played the demo for Breathedge 2 over the weekend. I hadn't played the first one, but I may end up picking it up. An interesting sassy puzzle solver in space. Though I didn't super duper like the micromanaging of oxygen and food over taking the puzzle solving.

I've been interested in that since people spoke of how it's got major Oblivion vibes.... like the true spiritual successor type vibes... is that your take as well?

It's been awhile since I've played Oblivion - I guess the quest structure is similar. KCD feels a lot more complex than what I remember of Oblivion, but that might just be Skyrim affecting my memories of Oblivion.

If anything, I'd describe KCD as being a lovechild between the Elder Scrolls games and Mount&Blade. It's got the open world/quest structure of the Elder Scrolls games, but the complex simulation feel of M&B's combat.

Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy

Better than Baldur's Gate 3 if you ask me but both games can coexist I suppose.

Satisfactory - laid back spaghetti factory building / planning great layouts for production lines / exploration with hideous spiders.

How is that game compared to Factorio? Did you played both?
No, I haven't tried Factorio yet mostly out of fear that it'll suck me into the void :)

But from what I understand Satisfactory is way more laid back, nothing attacks you base or causes any stress (other than the aforementioned spiders) + 2D vs 3D.

I find it relaxing while giving me the option to fiddle with production optimization, which tickles my neatness/math OCD :D

I feel that you may find yourself just like at home with Factorio. Consider it a warning 😁
I may try Satisfactory once I finish with Factorio but it may not be this and next calendar year 🫣😁

Lol, I usually forget about that bug by the time I get around to replaying FEAR. PCGamingWiki should be on your short list of sites to visit whenever you encounter issues with older games. They list common hacks/tweaks/fixes for that type of issue as well as many others.

Sweet what's your rating of it so far?
I'd give it a positive rating thus far... I'm having a lot of fun with it. The story has me wanting to see it through, the action is there at times, some decent puzzles (if ur trying to 100% it) and the graphics and sound are well done.

I did see (on accident) there IS a secret ending. Luckly didn't see what or anything, but it does involve spending time collecting artifacts and whatnot, which can slow things down. However, I've actually enjoyed the exploring in this game, so I am aiming for 100%.

WoW SoD. Phase 8 just got announced. Brand new origional content for classic? sign me up. About to start raiding naxx tomorrow.

Enshrouded. Game is flippin' awesome!

Survival. Playing a game which forces mining for the resources needed to craft armor, weapons, tools, enhancements, sustenance, etc. is what I have longed for for many years. Despite the hours invested in Fallout 4 with crafting and whatnot, it doesn't even compare to Enshrouded.

I've found my Huckleberry. And it is wonderful.
