What are you nerds playing this weekend?

Dead Space remake. Apparently this is on Game Pass, and it expires next week. So I am replaying this game, hopefully I finish before it lapses. If it does no big deal as I already played it years ago. Though so far it seems like a very faithful remake from what I remember, minus mouse issues and whatnot. Though it still has stuttering problems.

Today is finals, i have winter break to look forward too. Going to lose more brain cells to Mortal online 2 as usual.

Definitely WZ although the more I play the less I want to play
I will probably continue RDR2 story mode that I started last year
TLOU 2

Stalker 2 and I'll pick up Pantheon Rise of the Fallen on Dec. 13th but won't play it till next week.

Been trying to slog through Ghost of Tsushimi, but it's just not vibing for me. Feels like I'm playing a less open-world AC set in fuedal Japan.

Waiting for Indiana Jones to unlock Monday when I have the first day off from work in three weeks. Reviews look suprisingly excellent.

Got too many games now to play.

Indiana Jones
BG3
COD BLOPS6 Campaign plus MP of course
Aliens Dark Descent
Banishers Ghost of Eden
Alan Wake 2 DLC
HFW (need to play this to play the DLC on PC)
Atomic Heart
Marvel Rivals
Stalker 2

Where will I ever find the time for this?

Except DLC, waiting for the rest

Deleted the ones I don't have interest in, crossed out the ones I did. Might do STALKER 2 or Indiana Jones next.

Getting around to Frostpunk 2 now that frame gen works on the Game Pass version. RTX HDR is not wanting to work for me now though. The first game really grabbed me and I damn near finished it in my first sitting. The sequel, not so much for some reason. Maybe it's having to manage multiple separate colonies. Dealing with expansions always seemed to be my downfall back when I played Starcraft 2. At least this game has a pause button!

Trepang2 and Astro Bot are also on the agenda.

Indy. It is a bit more of a movie than a game, as some critics have pointed out.
Still a pretty good semi-interactive movie.

And JESUS they did a great job with motion capture, actor texturing, and voice acting. They captured all sorts of little glances, blinks, smirks, and Troy Baker sounds even more like Harrison Ford than Harrison Ford.

I don't know how you can say it's more movie than game when I spent 3 hours the other night running around and doing stuff in Gizeh.

When I wrote that, I was still in the Vatican, which seemed dominated by cutscenes.

It certainly opened up a lot more in Gizeh.

To be fair, every field and main quest has cutscenes to go along with every turn in point, so it can certainly feel like a lot, but I think it works in this game's favor. It doesn't feel that way as much in Gizeh since the map is so much larger and there is more to discover.

With no news on the next STALKER 2 patch, I just started God of War Ragnarok. Graphics aren't the greatest but it is more or less a stable 120+ frame rates so far which makes for smooth gameplay. So I will continue going through this game, and hopefully fine room for Indiana Jones.

Klonoa remake - the first game. So far so good. Lot of dialog though. I wasn't exactly anticipating that given it's a platformer and that the demo that I've played on the PSX didn't have hardly any dialog scenes in it.

Been playing Marvel's Midnight Suns non-stop this week. Might as well be called Marvel's Superhero Friendship Simulator with a built in card battling mini-game. But I'm really enjoying it, despite most of the "gameplay" being chores and cringe worthy dialogue.

Might go back to Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate after this. Started it earlier this year and lost interest after 2 hours for some reason. Or there's that Aliens Dark Descent game on Game Pass. Or maybe I'll start Divinity Original Sin.

Still need to get around to Astro Bot... and Stellar Blade... and FF7 Remake/Rebirth... all of which I bought with the intention of playing on my shiny new PS5 Pro while on vacation this month. I'm not very good at following through with plans.

void* tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium

Played the demo for void* tRrLM2(); on PS, saw the first game on sale on switch so I grabbed it a few days ago, not realizing I had played the sequal before. Still, it's pretty fun. Easy, and maybe too forgiving, but still fun for a laid back rogue-like.

Also playing a bit more timberborn. Had to start over on the terraces map -- was on hard difficulty, and five days of water between bad-tides every cycle was too much challenge for my skill level.

Mostly Indiana Jones and Call of Doody.

Still got tons of games to indulge myself in but Indy has me hooked for now. I am also watching the original trilogy with the game and it is a blast. On to the dark crusade right now.

Think I will finish COD campaign as it has been pending for a while. Then on to Dead Island 2 and maybe some Aliens Dark Descent and BG3 on the side.

BG3 is so intimidating. I keep losing fights as my party is so under leveled. Might need to revisit places once I gain some XP and crap.

Still too many games to play. Haven’t even thought about starting Stalker 2 or some of the old games I wanted to finish like Ghost Recon Breakpoint which has been on the disk for about 4 years or something. Plus I got FF16 on PC but didn’t touch it and also there is Banishers of New Eden which intrigued me quite a bit.

Halo Masterchief Collection on PC. Starting with CE. My kids are watching me play. My son played the first level last night (he's not super familiar with FPS games). Impressive so far. Being able to play the game at 1080p 60fps lock (enhanced and original graphics) is something that my teenage self would have wet-dreamed over.

My biggest gripe of the game is that it requires you to sign into a Microsoft account to play. So I just created one just for the game... and Gaming in general I guess. Now I can get Forza Horizon :D. I've been googling a little bit but haven't seen a definitive answer... Can I play this game co-op on LAN? Would love to co-op with my son if I could. Shame there isn't a split-screen co-op if you're not on an XBox one.

Stalker 2 HoC. I still don't have a suit with psi protection yet lmao. Need to git 'er done so I can do that one mission that requires it.
Cyberpunk 2077

I was gifted Satisfactory and I am not quite sure what to make of it. It seems a lot of sitting around converting items or waiting for items to be smelted.

I figure it's a good game for people who enjoy watching Windows install. I used to be that way, but I lose interest nowadays.

Starfield.

Working on the last achievement for Shattered Space. Discovered the location to start the last quest to get the achievement this morning but ran out of time. Will finish quest off tonight when I get home.
