The difference is the $100 drive here is a 2.5 inch drive.
Too bad the drive can't be shucked like the seagate version, but it is usb 3.0 and comes with a 2yr warranty. Direct link to bbuy:

How do you know which drives are shuckable? I thought none of the current USB 2.5" drives were.
Reading online--mostly reddit as those guys will do full writeups with pics so no guessing.
