What is the difference between SATA II and SATA I. Is there a difference in speed? I saw at Fry's the other day that they have two different cables (SATA II and SATA I) and I just bought the SATA I cable because I don't know about the SATA II yet.

Yup, speed is the only difference, really. 3gb/s (II) compared to 1.5 (I).
