Well I am about to be on my 4th 360!

mnewcxv: i have no idea if any of them were falcons.

I don't follow the model #'s closely.

did you have to return the power brick as well? if not, and the new units used the old power brick, then none were falcons. The power connectors are not backwards compatable. :)

I went 20 months on a 1st generation 360 before it finally had the RROD. Ever since I got it back I have a disc read error about once every 3 days. Happened a lot in Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed.

the first rrod was the power brick. any of the following have been one RROD non brick related. and 2 unreadable discs.

I replaced my 1st 360 with an Elite. My first one didn't die, but I didn't like having a 1st generation 360 and I had an extended warranty that offered new replacements. I wanted the HDMI port and the extra space since I had been buying alot of Rock Band songs. I use my 360 for everything, watching TV, movies, listening to music or the radio (through Media Center), and I haven't had a problem. I do keep it on top of a laptop cooler just to be careful.
