web programming gurus please help

OK heres the deal, I want to know how can i make the site funtion like so

currently it runs like this (the links) index.php?module=blah_blah&blah=1

how can i make it so it runs like this: index/module/blah_blah/blah/1

its not a site things, its something to do with the server as well...does anyone know how to do this? Many thanks in advnace

mod_rewrite.. Heh, dont ask me specifics because I am currently working on figuring it all out myself. If anyone has some good tutorials, please share.
