I am looking for a webpage based service, that exists or I can host myself, where I can upload pdf's to read.

I want to go to this site and have a library of books, click on the book, read some of it, switch devices and pick up on the same page I left off.

Does anyone know of something like this that exists? Kindle is the closest but it doesn't seem to like the pdf's I'd like to use nor is it web based.
 
Kindle has a web version, and it works well. However, I think the feature that you're going to have a problem with is the service remembering where you left off...
 
Google Docs allows you to upload PDFs and view them without needing extra software. I don't know if it saves the space where you left off, though.
 
Google docs would be a good choice. Last time I tried it, Kindle Reader online only lets you read books purchased through Amazon.
