Sep 19, 2008 #4 F fellows Limp Gawd Joined Sep 18, 2006 Messages 180 No real easy way to do it that I could find. Download Hitachi;s HD tool...google burn the iso and boot from it. Then set AAM to 255 or the max possible. Restart and run HD tune again.. should be fine

Sep 19, 2008 #6 C camelass Limp Gawd Joined Mar 28, 2007 Messages 272 I downloaded Hitachi's Feature Tool and changed my AAM to 254 (highest setting) I have a 12.7ms access time now with no noticeable increase in HD noise. Thanks for the help.
