WD Blue HDD constant loud spinning noise

Have a HDD that started making a funky noise tonight. It sounds like it's kicked into hyper spin drive (sounds almost like one of the older loud WD Black drives). No clicking noises.
It just started doing this tonight, and so far has shown no errors or slow downs/crashes or anything (yet). I rebooted the box 5 times to see if it would stop, But it seems as if it's here to stay.

Is it safe to assume the HDD is on verge of dying?

It's a pretty old WD Blue 320GB drive. We keep a backup of all the data, so it's not a big deal if it dies.

I would put my money on the thing dying and replace it.
