WD Black m.2 1tb NVME SSD for $199

I pay tax on Amazon where I am, but if your situation is different YMMV :-D

From what I've read, the prices should start dropping next year but for those that need something soon-ish rather than later, this deal seems pretty good.

I've been holding off on a new SSD purchase even though the prices/deals lately have been VERY tempting. Not doing any upgrades at the moment and waiting to see what's coming from Intel/AMD next year before taking the plunge on a full system rebuild/parts upgrade. I figure buying now is sort of silly given that my need is still a good 6-12 months out. By then, I fully expect SSD's will be even cheaper. For those building/upgrading now though, these SSD deals are killer!

I have this drive and it's excellent but I paid $400 less than 6 months ago! I'm waiting for 2tb nvme m.2 drives to come down in price before upgrading again.

Feel this pain. I paid dearly for a 1tb 960 Evo earlier this year. It's like half the price now.

If your looking to Raid 0 these drives you better have an AMD system as Intel has blocked raiding SSD's on anything except Intel drives.
Had 2 960 Pro's in Raid 0 on an MSI Z170 board but anything newer requires Intel drives only!

Damn, I'm nearly maxxed out on the 256SSD on my XPS 13 and just found this thread. In for one, tonight. Thanks, OP!!! (y)
