Usual CDW Outlet caveats--only one usually available, open box or other returned condition but with normal CDW return policy and full manufacturer's warranty.

They've got two that are already down to this price and a third that has one more price drop before it's at this price:

There's also a red 8TB that's going for a dirt cheap:

Shipping and tax jacked it up to $170 :( Still a good price but thankfully I'm not desperate for a new HDD so I'm holding off on buying one.

Interesting our discount price for the same drive is > $100 more..

(or at least it was around $269 each for the 6TB drive yesterday when I looked to buy 20 or so)

Although shipping and tax are both free for us.

Because that's not an outlet item. ;)

Keep an eye on these then as at some point they'll drop to 50% of retail before they're liquidated. (y)

Hardly--I'm not buying this anywhere. The only fool is the one who posts w/o thinking.
So why didn't you do the math before complaining about the out-the-door price? I don't care if it's $50 for shipping because that's still cheaper than anyone sells the drive in this condition.

And this is how retailers play games with people. Even car sales people do this. The out-the-door delivered price is the only thing that should matter in addition to being the exact same product (oem vs retail, new vs used, etc). Value is finding something chepaer than it should be. A great deal is finding something significantly less than it should be, and that it is the real deal.
