Wait wait wait wait. Are you implying that viewing porn will, over time, ultimately lead to one viewing illegal pornography(do I even need to list it?)? That's not only a harsh assumption but highly idiotic. Can you please express your thought pattern on this matter, or could you please kindly stop posting? You just sound like some misinformed fundie prude.
 
Studies have shown that 20 minutes or more of sexual arousal increases the release of free testosterone, leading to a more efficient metabolism (temporarily) and a slight feeling of elation (along with reduced stress levels). Porn can lead to sexual arousal.

Porn does the body good. That's undebatable.

Even if it was illegal, that doesn't mean anything. Example: drugs, sex and other pleasures of life.

I can't edit the above post for some reason, but I wrote 'sex' in reply to the first quote by mistake. I was meant to refer to the age of consent and similar issues (such as a couple considered to be under the age of consent by law in certain countries). Alcohol is another example (in America at least, where IIRC you need to be 21 to drink..).
 
Laugh and mock while you can, in the end; most of you who subscribe to pornography will suffer what was described and the hardest part is: You will never have the excuse to say that you were never given a fighting chance or that you weren't warned.

Live, enjoy it and then when the time comes; you will have to pick up the pieces, shattered pride and all.
 
Where are you coming from with this? Do you just think porn is bad in general, or are you more concerned with the effect it has on people?

A quick scenario:
Joe and Jane have been happily married for 10 years. To spice things up a bit, they occasionally will watch a porn together to keep things fresh.

Do you think they will be picking up the shattered pieces too? I guess I am just not sure where you are coming from on this.

There is no doubt that porn has a negative effect on SOME people, but to make a blanket statement about everyone seems a little silly.

The Law beat me to it, but I'm going to reiterate it for emphasis. Porn can bring couples together. The fact that you are obviously intimdated by pornography and what you believe it can do to relationships makes me feel pitty (probably unjustified, as people like yourself don't acknowledge their social dysfunction and thus don't require any) as you're missing out on what can be a highly rewarding experience.

Pornographic actors and actresses have spoken at length about how they live surprisingly normal, mundane lives like the rest of us. And if porn is so ruinous to our society, how are we still around in spite of data that indicates the overwhelming majority view pornographic material? I can understand you probably feel the way you do as a result of some sort of trauma or indoctrination but this is a public forum and you won't get anywhere being so imperialistic about it.
 
All the money spent on porn would end the world's sanitation and hunger needs.
 
Myg: I can't seem to make sense from what you're trying to imply. You're very religious am I right? Only explanation possible from what I'm seeing.
