$699 Feb 7th
R7 released on Feb 7 for $700. Probably a big mistake. Should be $600. The tepid reaction of the audience show everybody is expecting less than what Su announced.
$699 with 3 games
699 Vega 2
I didn't expect any gpu until june~
He talks like most swedes, just be happy he's not Norwegian!!!
$699 with no gsync tax
Feb 7 $700 for Radeon 7.
Only disappointing if cost is the same
$699. Blown opportunity.
Radeon 7 / Vega II is 699 MSRP and will bundle with RE2, DMC5, and the Division2
AMD really likes their 7s today. Not a bad price, assuming the performance pans out.
$700??? If the performance doesn't match at least a 1080ti then it's highly disappointing..
Oh well. So much for return to mainstream video game prices.
at 699 they're definitely going after the 2080.
$700 with the 3 game pack by the way. Im not up to date with pricing, is this bad or good or maybe, wait for reviews cause we dunno yet?
I can kinda.. swallow that.. Kind of, not happy but happier than rtx2080 just because it's more value... not same value!
AMD/GOOGLE partnership for Project Stream
She said they are wrapping up with one more partner story.
So no 7nm Zen announcement. Major bummer. That was the only reason for this keynote.
At 700 count me out. I'll stick with my V64
Same price and performance as a 1080 Ti from 2 years ago. What a joke.
AMD and Google Project Stream partners, AMD powered cloud servers.
SIDENOTE: Been doing this, its good tech, shame the game is only so so.
Enough with the generic, boring console games.
Oh god, they're advertising cloud gaming. No wonder Nvidia priced their RTX 2060 at $350.
2080 with no rtx....
Radeon Pro driving Project Stream
That RTX 2060 is looking ALOT more desirable now!
$699. 7nm and HBM are both expensive, so it's not really that much of a surprise, but it's a bit of a disappointment. At least there's NVidia alternative with decent perf though.
they can keep their crap for now I am just getting my next 1080TI and doing SLI
This does not jive with the rumored price points out there does it?
And then she said "to wrap up the gaming section", so maybe there is another section?
Considering the 2080 is essentially useless for RTX in the first place....
Mention's next generation CPUs.
no Zen 2 announcement.
Ryzen 3!! come on
