Warm/Hot - HP ZR2740w 27" 2560x1440 Monitor ($349) / Refurb

How does this compare to the QNIX QX2710 down several threads yonder?

This monitor appears pretty frequently on woot.com. Heck, there have been at least 3 threads on [H} for this make and model in the past few months.
 
I have one and ordered another today. I've had zero issues with it. Unlike the ebay ones it can use DVI or DP and has a nice stand. No dead pixels either. You get to deal with HP for the warranty, which in my experience in the past was pretty decent.
 
I ended up buying a new opened box from Microcenter. No dead pixels and looks great out of the box. 3 warranty and 2 more years of warranty for just 60$ more isn't too bad.

On the flip side. I got one and it was DOA. It does have a nice stand.
