great price on my favorite ram, gskill tridentz ddr4. I have the 32gb 3200 kit. that red piece on the heatsink is plastic though just so you know
 
I will see how well 2 of these kits work in quad channel on a X99 system. I know everyone here recommends getting a quad channel kit if you are doing quad channel but I couldn't ignore a $50 savings over the quad channel (4x8gb) kit for the same amount of GB's(32GB). From my experience with x58 and triple channel, it makes no difference. I ran several x58 systems with mismatched ram in triple channel without issue.

Too bad about the red plastic, but it still looks way better then those Ripjaws!
