Best buy has the 55" on sale for 799 - it supports 1440p@ 120hz and freesync so could be a good candidate for a big screen gaming monitor

Change the title to the 65" NU8000 (same features) for $919 at bestbuy this week.

wow.. how far back are you going to sit from it!?!?!?!??!! LOL..
65" bet certain "websites" will look virtually REAL!!!!!:ROFLMAO:

Haha not for desktop. 2nd living room for consoles.

I used a 42" Panansonic 1080P LED backlit (was one of the first "high end" LED sets when it was released back in 2010) sitting about 6 ft from it (I have 20/15 and 20/10 vision) for about 7 years with my recliner desk I built. It is great for someone with chronic pain. The bad thing was I was limited to wanting things like better response, input lag, VRR etc...Things that these sets give you in SPADES!!!

I am getting 65" (or the Q65FN not sure which yet) when I move next month...I am going to be rebulding a recliner desk but also have a folding table that is the perfect height to use as a desk with my comfy Serta office chair..I will just set my table up as close/far as I want and go to town on it. I cannot wait! These sets are why I own dual Radeon VIIs

Jesus, what an amazing deal, 65" for $900 that does 1080p / 1440p @ 120hz .... insane. Such a great gaming display.

I, as well as others here on HardOCP have the 55" for desktop. It's amazing.

I have the 75" version of this TV and while it is a decent TV, I wish I had shelled out for the Q series.. The gamma gradient from the backlight is very uneven, only really noticeable on an all white screen (like snow) but it annoys me.

I have 75" had it for maybe 3 weeks, I spent 2k with warranty, I might go get q6f 65 or 75" for same price,

plus my 75" makes cracking sounds for past week and half and I don't like for price I've paid.

You sure it's electrical that's making that sound? Might be an overly tight plastic housing screws that's moving with heat. Maybe loosening some case screws a turn or 2 may help

I thought that too, rtings.com said same thing, but it's not plastic sound, it does it when I turn it on and off, it didn't do it when I first got it, over time it seems get more and more. Maybe me, I'm I willing out 2300 on line? Not with having 45 day return with bestbuy, I've spent 3500 there, lol

Yeah well.no one would keep it with that.. exchange it atleast. Something is going on it.

Yeah, I'm glad I have 45 day return policy and not normal 14 day, I looked up, it's been 28 days, I seen my bestbuy has q6f 65" $1,199 5 year warranty $249.99 or 55" q8f full backlight array $1,299 5 year warranty $299.99. Really I thought about Vizo P 65" full-array for $999 rtings said it's good gaming TV, just no freesync, the Q6F was really good TV, despite no full-array

I have full array on my High End Vizio, ... I cannot tell much of a difference over my NU8000. Both look amazing.

If you're just a TV guy with no gaming, you don't need the 120hz ... if you're a gamer. 120hz is a game changer. More so than any other feature in my book.

No I game lol, I picked up Radeon VII have freesync on PC and xbox, everything's butter smooth :)

My 75" has 1080p 120hz, 1440p 120hz, 4k 60hz.

I thought going 10" smaller saving 1k and with 75" making weird sounds, and I know ryzen 3000 series is around corner, I was gonna grab 2600x or 2700x and x470 and some ddr4 3200, call it day lol

I had best buy price match B&H for the 75" Q9FN for 3299.99 with 10% cash back for getting their card (will pay in full, not worried about redonkulous APR). So not too far from a free PS4 pro on top. The Q8 and 9 have dimming zones. I understand a whole different ball of wax than topic, but still it's the cheapest I've seen it not from ebay if we're allowed to venturing from OP a lil to talk about Samsung TVs as gaming displays. The 2018 NU's and Q's all have this 120Hz @1440p and VRR. I do wish my desktop Sony 4k 43" had these features!

If anyone has Costco, their prices are th same and include a 3 yr Square Trade warranty...the SQ costs $100 for 3 yes, and Costco gives you a $100 instant discount on the TV making it *free*..

..You get 2 yr no questions asked warranty from Costco, and then 3 yr from SQ so that is a huge deal IMO vs Best Buy. Even if you.have to spend $60 on a Costco membership it's a better deal (look on Groupon for discounts on Costco membership yo make it cheaper then $60).

So does this one have the 120HZ @ 1440P? QN55Q65FNFXZA it is on sale at costco fo 899 with free 3 year sq trade.

Yes

1080p @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4 : Yes
1080p @ 120Hz : Yes (native support)
1440p @ 60Hz : No
1440p @ 120 Hz : Yes (native support)
4k @ 60Hz: Yes
4k @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4: Yes
4k @ 120Hz : No
8k @ 24 Hz : No
8k @ 60 Hz: No

States that 49" is not the same and cant do 1440 120hz though. Just like the 50" from the nu8000 model. So 55" and above only on either models.
