Want a 15.4" Laptop, but need DVI for 2407fpw. Possibly with HP dv6000t?

My dad is thinking about getting a HP dv6000t laptop, but is worried he won't be able to connect it to his 2407fpw through a dvi connection, thus making it blurry. Is there any work around for this? If not, are there any similarly sized laptops that will? Macbook Pro is out of our price range unfortunately.

Thanks!

You could probably pick up a refurb MacBook Pro with a Core Duo CPU for close to the same price.

The regular MacBook has DVI too, but it doesn't have a 15.4" screen. :(

He would get a macbook, but he wanted the non integrated video card. How bad would the core duo be in comparison to the core 2 duo?

There is a new Asus G1 which will have a Core 2, 15.4 WSXGA+ Screen, 7700Go and a DVI port. Should be launched in mid december for around 1500$ nicely equiped. Always could get a E1705 with 7900GS for pretty cheap, but its a 17inch based laptop.
