is there a good program free of any spyware crap that will change your wallpaper at set intervals? i know windows has a powertoy to do this, but i was hoping for a program that would have intervals shorter than 15min.

I use AWC to change my backround. Its small and is freeware. I like it because it has command line options and does not need to sit in the system tray to change your wallpaper like most others. I have scheduled task run a batch file every 12 hours, the code inside is:

%yourprogramdir%\AWC.exe /x /nosplash /D:"F:\Wallpapers" /S:1 /F:2 /N:1

This will run the program with no splash screen, take any supported image from the wallpapers folder, set it as your wallpaper in full screen, then close right away. Works very well, would recommend you give it a try!

Does anyone know where I can find the powertoy? I used Google and looked on M$ website for it and did not see it.

QuickChanger is also a spiffy tool that'll do the same thing, plus it gives thumbnail previews and hotkeys for fast switching on the fly.
