I checked [H] rules to see if this is legal and didn't see it mentioned.

First time VPN user.

Has anyone tried "PrivitizeVPN"?
http://privitize.com

Is there any issues I should worry about?
Is there better?

How about web based ones.
Looking at "its Hidden" now.

Secure browsing, buy/selling on public WiFi.

Don't know how safe these are as I never tried them before.

You could setup a VPN server at your house and accomplish the same thing, not sure if that is something of interest to you?

If so, find a low power atom box, 2 network ports, and grab untangle. It is very easy to setup and use. From there, setup vpn server then deploy client to your laptop.

I do have my own vpn box at home, so I dont use one personally but I heard good things about astrill.

I used to use vypervpn but have switched recently to seed.st's vpn. Both are paid but seed.st is MUCH cheaper ($5/month vs $15/month).

If you are looking for free and don't mind some serious logging there is also hotspotshield's free vpn.

Also may I ask why you can't set up your own vpn server at home? Do you not have the ability to port-forward or is your internet just too unstable/slow?

My guess is illegal download/uploads which he won't get much help here...

Only have my laptop which I take with me.

Or I was visiting HowToGeeks' front page articles and wanted to get other people's views and opinions since I'm mainly on public WiFi most of the time. :)
