Vonage router problem with windows file sharing when connecting to main router....

Whenever my print/file server is connnected to my vonage linksys router I am unable to print or see shared files. It connects to my linksys router and works fine except for the file sharing. I didnt see any obvious settings that would solve the problems in the software, so I have to disconnect the connection from my main router to the vonage linksys router and connect it directly to the pc for the print and file sharing to work. Anyone have a fix?

use standard router as main router and uplink the vonage router (turn off all routing functions).
