Voltage requirement for stable 400FSB on IP35 Pro

I tried 1.37 yesterday on my E6600 (400x9) and booted into Windows, but got a BSOD three seconds in Orthos Small FFTs. Temps were around 52 for the last update.

With temperatures that high, I'm worried about pushing it much further. Should i have expected to hit 400FSB at that voltage, or is my CPU/motherboard/etc a lemon?

Have you increased the voltage for your northbridge at all? If not, try that. If so, what voltage?

On a 35 board, for 400 fsb, you shouldn't have to bump voltage for the NB and SB at all, or if all, just one notch. At this low overclock, the cpu voltage should be the limiting factor.

My ip35-e has has been bumped up only one notch on the NB for 400, and I don't think it really needed it; - on an E6600 too.

I have 2 E6600's, and they need quite different voltages for 400/3.2.......
