ok i've read the other posts about people's questions towards how the upgrade works with an OEM Vista disc from Newegg. All of them were great help and i understand....but one thing i still do not understand.
When after i upgrade my machine (still has 64 bit Vista on it) to Windows 7 am i correct to believe that i still WILL NOT receive a Windows 7 disc from Microsoft? and if that is the case how do i handle the situation of some time down the road i want to reformat my hard drive again but go straight to Windows 7 without using my old Vista disc?
is there a way around this? thanks for any help
