I don't think there is anyone left that gives a shit about Vista, but thanks anyways. ;)

Here's some more Kool-Aid to buy into, um i mean drink <3

e\ I fail at tagging if you saw my ninja edit :p

That's interesting because I run Vista on all my computers, my girlfriends computers, and a computer I'm about to build for someone will have Vista installed on it.

Get off your XP high horse. XP is crap after learning the ways of Vista. I cant stand it anymore personally.

and you joke about a potential troll with Win7 and then are an XP troll? Now THAT is funny.

I had some grip about Vista at first but with a good system w/ 4GB ram , Vista x64 is super fast. I'll install Win7 when it's ready

Yea, Vista x64 is a geat OS especially with current ram prices, which should only go down in the future. The anti-vista trolling is just lame at this point.
Edit:: Installed SP2, running like greased lightning, really nice.

Just finished installing SP2 for Office and Vista. Both running faster. No complaints here.

Does the Vista SP2 still have the watermark?

Also, has anyone tried Vista Update Integrator? Neat program to include specific drivers, service packs, unintended installations, specific Vista versions, specific updates, etc. http://www.winvistaside.de/downloads/systemtools/vista-update-integrator-47/?file=47 Sorta like a Vista only version of nLite. No disc chopping though that I can see.

Considering it's the same release that everyone else will get, I doubt it.

Edit: Just installed it and I can confirm that it doesn't have it, just as I suspected.

leaked?

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=948465

it is not leaked. RTM =- release to manufacture and subscribers.

on a sidenote...now for the IT folks.

the bottom link will redirect you to a site EXTERNAL to Microsoft.

Microsoft forgot to URL check and put technetmicrosoft.com which sends you to soopa.com. the corec tURL = Technet.Microsoft.com (additional . in there).

BE CAREFUL!

Not to counter your point, but:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/dd262148.aspx

SP2 RTM has been going up and down off the MSDN and Technet sites all day yesterday,

I'm sure that's what you meant to say.
Nope. I will slightly rephrase what I said though. Support for 7 isn't ready yet. 7, as a stand alone OS is pretty dang good. But the software support isn't as ready for it as it is Vista.

Plus if 7 were ready, it would be out. It's not out so it's not ready :D

Am I the only one that thought he was being sarcastic about Vista? Hell, he even put in the "wink" emoticon. I think some folks here need to take their Prozac...
