vista pricing

    how much can i get a copy of vista 32 or 64bit for?
    Everywhere I have seen is expensive and the less the better.SO if you know where I can get it at cheap please feel free to let me know

    less then $100 would be nice.Especially since I have to buy a new mobo,case and psu

    There are different flavors of vista-basic,home premium,business and ultimate
    The cheapest is the basic under $100 with no aero,there rest are above $100 unless you go with my deal :)

    edit:home premium i see is under $100 also

    Get Home premium at the least.

    Dual core support should be reason enough.

    [Edit] Sorry didn't see that there was a logical vs. physical processor distinction. Home basic should support dual core cpus.

    I still recommend Home premium though.

    Check out Google for Vista deals....I found one in about 15 seconds for $74 Vista Home Premium :cool:

    Home Premium is very likely what you want, yes; for the price difference Home Basic is missing so many features it's not worth it.
