Vista Permission Settings?

How the hell do I turn off all the annoying Vista pop-ups always asking my permission every time I tell it to do something? I know there is a way because I did it on my previous install I just can't for the life of me remember where that was.

Search for msconfig. Open that, click on 'Tools', scroll down until you find 'Disable UAC'. Click on that then click on 'Launch'. OK that then restart your machine

EDIT: Can't believe that's still word filtered. I'm talking about a dark color+measurement standard.
