Vista on a Tecra M3

1.8GHZ and 2 gigs of ram

Things I don't like.
1.Does not come out of sleep or stand by mode. MS knows this a fix is being looked at.
2. My fan runs 24/7 and I don't have any of the visuals turned on causing the laptop to get massive hot.
3. Keeps asking me to allow everything even after I turned it off.
4. None of my administrator programs run on it. Novell or Active Directory.
5.When I'm blogging or posting the screen is 6 secs behind.
6.Its a memory whore
7.I don't like that you can't see details when defraging
8.My firefox plugins are slow to work (figure that out)
10.Ready boost does not work like it should
11.


I made a ghost image of it so I'll burn that to dvd and when sp1 comes out perhaps I'll come back but this os offers me nothing. Direct X 10? Am I using it? No

5) Sounds like a video driver issue, not Vista.
6) It's supposed to be a memory whore, for good reasons. Why pay for 2 GB of memory, if you want to use as little as possible? Do people buy Ferrari's to see how little of their horsepower they are using?
