Could someone please help me with this question. My school gives out free versions for download of Windows Vista Enterprise Edition Upgrade to faculty and staff. However, they told me that the version of XP needed to be one of the school-licenced versions of XP. Obviously, my home version of XP is not liscened by school, but I was wondering if I installed it, if Vista would know that my version of XP was not enterprised licenced version of XP.
Basically, Would windows vista enterprise upgrade edition know what my version of XP is not my school's licenced version of XP.
