Ok, so heres the background:
I have a new dell XPS laptop, came with vista, and I was just too lazy to reformat and look for drivers, and just started using Vista. It worked fine and blah blah blah me and my friend came to the conclusion that debuggin a problem would be so much easier in XP.

Long and behold, having played with dualboot in XP before I felt confident and installed XP without doing any research. Only to find out that XP's boot loader doesn't recognize Vista's MBR, so it overwrote the boot path, and now it only boots into XP.

There is a solution of using a Vista DVD to repair the installation, however, I only have the restore disk, and not the OS DVD.

Is there any other solution? I could try to find a Vista DVD somewhere, but that'd work out to be a lot of trouble and I'd like to avoid it.

Thanks guys. in advance =)
