Film score fans should appreciate this one. You’ll find a cover for just about anything, but it’s rare to find one that not only sounds good but comes with a well-produced video. While James Horner and Hans Zimmer both had great takes at Spider-Man themes, I still think Elfman’s is the definitive version.

Back in the day, I never thought that the lead singer of Oingo Boingo would be a great film score composer.

I'll bet hard currency that when Oingo Boingo was at their peak in the early 1980s neither did Danny Elfman. :D

I have one of her albums. She actually does kick ass and mixes her violin with hip-hop electronica. She's pretty awesome.

Peculiar Children has beautiful music but now it seems he didn't score it. Still amazing music and recommend highly. I heard a couple songs the other day and was impressed. Looking over his other film scores, some of the best ones came from him. Lindsay has great music and the music videos are really entertaining and fun.

Crystalize is my favorite off the album I got, but my album has a full orchestra version that murders the original electronica one, which is what I heard that first got me curious about her as an artist.

That's still from the era when her music was full of innocence, and felt energetic and fresh. I don't really enjoy her recent stuff this one included. All is too dark and generic. It seems that since she parted ways with Devin Graham aka. devinsupertramp her stuff became much darker and lost it's innocence. But all of her early work is a must watch/listen. My firm favorites are Chrystalize, Shadows, and Electric Daisy Violin.

But the skyrim theme is pretty epic too.

He's very talented and done a lot of great stuff with scores and his old work with Oingo Boingo was enjoyable.

Lindsey Stirling kicks ass. I found her on Pandora about a year or so ago and love her music.

Actually a big fan of hers. Own all the albums and been to a couple of her shows. Followed her on YouTube after seeing her on America's Got Talent. She has a great blend of classical and electronic music that you just don't hear anywhere else. It helps that she's hot as well!
