So basically right now I am running a radeon 5870, geforce 9600gt, and a usb displaylink adapter to power 6 monitors.
The active display port adapter I use for the bottom 3 korean 1440p monitors works for the most part, however I have never been able to make eyefinity work with this card after AMD driver version 10.3. It works perfectly at that driver version but none after that.
So at this point my 5870 is getting pretty old so I am looking at upgrading. All displays use DVI Dual link as they are 1440p korean monitors.
So basically I am looking for options that rid me of using these annoying display port adapters to DVI-D.
I would be more than happy to go nvidia or amd.
My only thoughts are maybe its just my 5870 that has this issue and newer amd cards fixed it with the drivers and active adapters?
