Ok, wondering if any one else is seeing this problem. I recently got a one of these and was planing on using it for a small firewall. The problem is its EXTREAMLY slow booting up, it takes about 1 minute to find all the ide devices, and then hangs at that screen for about 1.5 min. Also, when it goes to boot the CD it either loads the boot manager (slackware install cd) but I can't get it to load the kenernel into memory, or it just says boot failure, insert system disk and press enter (no os installed on hd yet, and no floppy drive) Any Ideas? changed PSU already, will try memory now.
EDIT: well, I may have found the problem, it seems the HD I had in there was screwed up, I will try putting a different one in there and going from there.
