Just an attempt by VIA to stay relevant. Now that Intel is pushing the (soon to be released) NUC, VIA has to throw their own hat in the ring (for slightly less dough).

Unfortunately since this is based on the VIA Nano, it's going to be trounced by the Ivy Bridge Core i3-3217U included in the NUC (there's a reason VIA only publishes benchmarks versus the Atom). Also, the VIA integrated graphics are completely out of Intel's league with HD 4000.

It's always a laugh because AMD's latest trounces Intel in both performance and game support, and yet I'd rather use HD 2000 than get stuck with VIA integrated :D
 
LOL @ VIA for comparing it's processors to 3+ year old Atom processors.
That's a good one.
