VF 900+7900GTX= True?

Should i change the stock cooler on my Asus EN 7900GTX to a Zalman VF 900 CU, or should i just change to AS5 thermal grease? Pros and cons for stock? Same for the VF900 plz :D
 
Nooooo!

The stock fan on the 7900GTX is the best stock cooler out.

Just leave it :)
 
Thats what i have gotten att about 5 different forums, so i think i will leave the stock cooler on :D
 
while it deffinately is a great stock cooler putting on some AS5 will just make that much better IMO.
 
got 1 on my evga 7900 gtx it idles at 39c and i managed to get it to the superclocked speeds and i think its quieter than the stock cooler when the stock cooler starts spinning max speed in intensive games
 
Have just installed my 7900GTX, and it idles @ 50 degrees Celsius! I think thats alot :/
