I installed vista twice on a emachine t3604 pc and how come the cpu usage is very high it goes up and down from like at least 50% to 100% all the time, so as an result the pc runs slow and slugish anyone know why?
You'd have to load Task Manager, hit "Show processes from all users" and sort by CPU utilisation to see what process is using all the CPU before you can get anywhere with this problem.
The specs I found say it's a celeron with 512mb of RAM. If thats the case, increasing the memory will help. If you've got a newer flash drive around, hook it up as a readyboost drive and see if that helps.
I'm not sure the onboard intel graphics can handler aero -- if it's on, turn it off and that should make a big difference.
