Verizon Wireless Broadband and ICS

Well, I have a friend who has is buying a laptop and wants to Get the Verizon wireless Broadband service. But he wants to be able to share the connection with his desktop computer. Does anyone have or have experience with the Verizon Broadband system to tell me that ICS is possible with that setup?

I've not used ICS on my EVDO card in my laptop, but I don't see a reason why it won't work. It appears as a dial-up networking connection to the operating system.

Also, you can get EVDO -> Ethernet/Wifi routers, such as this:

What wireless modem / router is he getting?

No wireless modem/Router. This is for a cellular signal.

He really only needs 2 computers (1 desktop and 1 laptop). If it shows up as a dialup connection then it sounds like it will be fine. Thats great news. Thanks for the info.
