tinkered around in pshop for about 2 hours came up with this

Yes, next time, use Illustrator ;)

It seems ok, but I would personally smooth out a lot of curves that seem wobbly. Don't be afraid to use a shape path.
 
Do you have a link to a tutorial? I have always wanted to do this to my car...
