Whomever you are to believe, it looks like unicorn investments are leaving China and San Francisco. Whether it be communism or streets full of feces and needles, something is afoot. Citylab talks about the next Silicon Valley being outside of the United States, and Fortune is talking saying the winter is coming for China tech. Thanks scojer.
The pattern in the U.S. is decidedly mixed. East Coast hubs like New York and Boston have seen growth in startup funding, but San Francisco and other West Coast hubs, including Los Angeles and Seattle, have seen declines.
