I'd replay HL2 again with RTX features. I haven't touched it in a few years and I'm due. I used to play through the game every year for about a decade.
I don't think HL2 is Source 2, but I'd take a remaster...

I kinda doubt we'd be able to run HL: Alyx with RTX, but that would be pretty awesome.

They need to add RT to Source Engine games i.e CS, HL, HL2, L4D, Might & Magic ect.

Valves money train with Steam is so much they neglected to compete in the engine space. I really wish they would have continued engine development and competed more in that space. Then Epic and Unreal engine would be getting checked more if devs had access to alternatives - especially if like Unreal, Source worked across platforms and mobile.

As it stands, most are limited to Unreal or Unity. And if you have money, then maybe you can swing id Tech. Frostbite is exclusive and Source doesn’t have modern tools. Well, maybe/hopefully until now.
