Using which "Input" on these speakers would be the best to use?

I'll link you to what my sound card is and what speakers im using, but im currently using a 3.5mm to RCA type setup going from my sound card to the input on my speakers and im getting some interference noise. Im hoping that if I show you what speakers im using, you can see what options the onboard amp provides, and you can tell me if there is a better option. I think I have XLR balanced/unbalanced inputs but HAVE NO CLUE how/or what to use for those as ive never used them before. I tried using the usb input, and that got rid of my "Noise" issue, but i guess it bypasses the sound card as my asus software no longer makes any sound adjustments and lost control of the EQ. Please help me try to get rid of this interference noise!! Any ideas are appreciated....

The USB input is of course your best choice. Why do you want Asus to mess with EQ and stuff if you have semi-decent speakers?

If you want some pseudo surround or something you chould get a ground lifter module that allows you to connect your monitors via XLR to your computer.
