I've got a Ubiquiti Nanostation that I've bridged connections on and I want to restrict some subnets. I'd like to keep it on my private LAN so that I can use it anywhere on the network. If I use a public IP I won't be able to pass traffic if the nanostation is after my first private IP address from my circuits router.
Will a backhaul IP be able to block public subnets or will I have to keep it right behind my router and have it vulnerable to the public? I only have SSH and SSL ports open for L3 control.
