Using 4k TV on MBP ?

I've tried connecting my mac to Samsung 4K tv (KS7000 aka American KS8000)

And I'm getting super small interface which uses 4K native resolution


Is there any way to use TV as retina screen to have physical 4K and 1080p or 1440p equivalent resolution for software?

You should be able to scale the interface in display settings, but you don't list which MBP you have and how you're connected
